so welcome back to jesse at home i have so much motivation for you in this video it’s kind of crazy i tackle pretty much every single room on my main floor um and i know it’s kind of odd to start out vacuuming the back of my couch but i just it caught my eye there was like handprints all over it so i just wanted to give it a good vacuum to get those good vacuum lines i know that’s kind of crazy but since the couch is facing outwards towards everything um i like to vacuum the back of the couch we are all trying to get on a new schedule my kids are back to school kind of they’re doing the virtual learning which is a totally different type of learning than they did in the spring time it’s all like a set schedule it’s pretty much home school with some zoom and then also some personal learning time i don’t know it’s it’s a it’s an adjustment for sure if you don’t know if you’re new here hi welcome my name is jesse my husband and i just bought this house in april and we are doing a lot of renovations i do a lot of cleaning motivation room makeovers on this channel my children are older they’re not usually in my cleaning videos they do like to help out sometimes when we’re doing projects or things like that but i let them decide if they want to pop in a video or not um so you really don’t see them too much my son is 16 my daughter is 13.
they both go to the local high school middle school it’s a combined school so they go to school together and have been going to school together for quite a while now and we are kind of mourning the fact that they can’t go back to school because my son does wrestling like he’s gonna probably miss out on his junior year of wrestling which is super sad and my daughter does marching band and they do a bunch of festivals so this fall is kind of it’s just a weird place to be in for us and our family we’re really sort of involved and we like doing a lot of things and you know just school is kind of a big part of our community so it’s gonna be a little weird for them to be doing home school it’s gonna be definitely an adjustment and hopefully i do hope that they can go back to school soon so you know we’re all kind of in this together and trying to figure this all out so definitely may comment below if you are kind of struggling as well with the whole learning from home like homeschool type thing for the first time this year as well so oh since this is the first week of school and kind of special since they are homeschooling and they’re going to be eating lunch with me every day i really nice time to sit together and eat but once the kids were done they had to run back upstairs and i cleaned up our mess and went on with cleaning up the rest of the kitchen and getting the rest of the house straight while they went upstairs to work on their schoolwork i might go too fast i don’t care about those limits cause i want this to last like nothing nevertheless have you even noticed cause i’ve been thinking about you since i had prepared food on the counters i wanted to use my ante back and let it sit for a little bit to disinfect i think the bottle says 10 minutes to disinfect um so it’s always good to kind of let things linger a little bit if you want to actually disinfect and sanitize is have you even noticed cause i’ve been thinking about i’ve been it we love the same things are you thinking you it’s time for a dishwasher update still i think about three weeks away it keeps getting pushed a couple more weeks a couple more weeks every time we call to get an update on it um hopefully we’ll be getting it soon just because at this point it’s like you know i kind of wanted to wait to get the dishwasher um you know out and then i could paint and then we could install the new dishwasher but we might just have to go ahead and paint the cabinets and worry about installing the dishwasher when it comes in [Applause] is is oh [Applause] i seriously love a good sink scrub down all those bubbles and just kind of scrubbing your worries away the dishes are done um i just love cleaning out this thing because it means it’s i guess ready for more dishes darn i thought we were done with dishes but nope dishes are never done [Applause] me keep thinking that i could have done something but now i’m left with an empty heart no making amends no waking up besides we do the swaps and reverse and add cards it gets really really really fun we love doing sunday fun days even in the winter time even prior to us having a pool sunday fun days are a day to hang out as a family and gather together and i love my dining room in the winter time because i like to make a nice meal and then we’ll play a board game or a card game at the table it’s definitely the gathering place and a sense of you know just family time and resetting yourself and just enjoying each other’s company um i just i’m definitely sort of feeling the days get more precious as my kids get older because like i said they’re older 16 13.
