Tony Robbins: Invest Your Money Before 30
you know people say all the time how do I know if I’m in the right place financially you know when I’m in my 20s my 30s my 40s 50s whatever age they might be are you a consumer are you an owner you are not on target unless you become investor you don’t want to just buy an Apple phone when you want to own Apple and I don’t mean just an individual company I mean you want to be in a place where as companies grow you are an income you’re not just a consumer that’s the most important single decision you gotta make the second decision is you gotta automate it I don’t care what age you are if you don’t automate it you’re not gonna get there meaning you got to put it so that money comes out of your account before even touch it you have to have a certain amount of money that you’ve decided in advance it’s gonna come off the top automatically and put an investment account do you know what you’re investing for you know most people say I can’t have any money to invest I can’t put the money aside to do that but unless you draw the line in the sand unless you burn the boats you’ll always go back to the way you were there always be money to spend money on there always be expenses you have to decide there’s a certain amount of money that you make is gonna be yours to keep and then you’re gonna be an owner and investor not nearly somebody that’s constantly struggling to buy more things
