STAYING ON TRACK | motivation during quarantine + appreciating the little things

good morning you guys welcome to another
vlog it is the first day of May holy
crap I think in another vlog I was
talking about how March was the longest
month of the year I just felt like it
was dragging on for so long in the
beginning of March everything was normal
by the end of it we were stuck for
quarantine and then a whole April at
home just flew by which I’m happy about
now we get to start a whole new month
let’s see how May goes oh yeah obviously
I’m vlogging so hi I just got ready I’m
about to head out for a run it’s Friday
morning it’s nice and sunny so I’m gonna
go run down by the beach they closed off
the entire great highway which is like
the street right next to the beach
people are free to run bike ride without
cars which is really nice for the city
also I’m super excited because I’m gonna
listen to Drake’s new album while I run
everyone’s been posting about it I want
to give it a listen and what better way
to listen and just during a run I’ll
just let it play through here’s what I’m
wearing the sports bra is so bright but
I love it it’s from fabletics I love the
double layering action going on and then
I actually have a matching biker shorts
and that could go with this but I feel
like that’s a little bit not much so I’m
just wearing these lulu leggings they’re
all green I don’t know if you can tell
that’s the color and then they have the
side pockets okay but okay I’m gonna
wear these running shoes today and I’ve
honestly how these four so freaking long
I don’t even know what kind of style
they are but they’re from Nike and look
they match my sports bra I love I love
just looking put together when I work it
out you know I wanted to ask you guys if
you have any recommendations for running
shoes from other brands perhaps or like
a certain model cuz a lot of the times
my feet start to hurt while I run
especially longer distances I’ve been
trying to test out all the ones I have
already and I mean these ones are
actually pretty comfortable there’s not
a whole lot of support but like for now
I’m fine but eventually I think it might
be a good investment for me anyways I’m
gonna head off the house now and I will
vlog later I’ll try to get some clips of
like where I’m running because I think
it’ll be very nice and scenic
Oh hurry I’m back from workout I feel so
good after that I was out for like two
hours I think so basically I ran to the
beach and then all the way down the
beach which was a total of three miles
and then I was just walking around to
cool off took some self timer pictures
because you know sorry I’m putting Elvis
right now because he’s just pretty much
walked my way back home was listening to
my music just enjoying the Sun because
it’s so nice out today I’ll sit on a
bench along great highway so I just did
some squats lunges just to spice up a
little and then touch down made it home
now I’ve just been finishing up a video
and using my iPad to create these
overlays which I’m inserting into my
video it’s a vlog that has like a full
workout in it so if you guys haven’t
seen it go check it out also if you’re
wondering when I was eating oh my god I
just dropped some chicken my mom went to
Costco early and she got me a chicken me
which I have it is so long and it’s so
long bye anyways back to work

it is like almost 10 something right now
and I’ve been really easy this Saturday
morning I stayed up really late last
night watching Riverdale ah to the first
show that I’ve been hooked on in a very
long time if you know me you know I
don’t really watch a whole lot of TV I
don’t keep up with enough like series
and just TV shows in general but every
now and then I’ll dive into one I’m
already on season two of everyday life
I’m pretty sure this came out like a few
years ago and I’m just now watching it
there are so many other shows that I
haven’t seen and I wish that I could get
into when things were normal and I was
back in school and all that I just felt
like I didn’t have time to just sit and
binge shows also sometimes I feel guilty
about just spending hours watching TV
but now that I have a bit more spare
time my hands I’m I’m allowing it yeah
that is why I’m so tired this morning I
really want to go work out I wouldn’t
want to run yesterday and if I want to
do that again maybe today I’ll do
something I don’t know I just know I
need to get out of bed so let’s do that
it’s changed
here’s my workout outfit so far I don’t
know I’m just in a pink mood and then I
made a smoothie for breakfast mmm pretty
good we had a big bag of frozen fruit so
like pineapples peaches strawberries and
then I had some frozen bananas so I just
threw that all into here at it some flax
seed milk a little bit of agave it was
like this really pretty pink color and
then I added like a handful of spinach
and then it ended up like this
but it’s good and I would definitely
recommend adding spinach to your
smoothies because you can’t even taste
it it’s a good way to get your greens in
not drink it on like metal straw
absolutely my favorite thing I think I
will workout outside today even though
he’s really cold and I don’t want to but
I feel like I’m not motivated
I work out of my room right now so the
solution is that just find somewhere
else to go
as long as I’m warm enough I’ll let you
get a good workout in I’ll be fine like
this but it was probably the track feel
that’s like kind of near me only thing
is that it’s the weekend and the one
time that I did go during this whole
quarantine situation it was really
crowded it is a big place as I’m sure I
can find a spot so I obviously made it
to the track and it looks a little it
doesn’t look too bad I planned out my
workout before coming here and it’s a
little bit of running some sort of track
practice inspired drills and then
probably like a little stair workout in
between I was like a backpack and I have
my Cameron I don’t want me to leave it
cuz I’m gonna be running around the
track I just don’t know I am I figured
out I’m like 26 minutes since my work on
I’m already dying it’s really hot right
now even though it’s pretty cloudy and I
feel like I’m screaming because I have
my music in sorry oh also my phone is
broken to warm up I ran a mile and I
sprinted the straight hundred meter and
then I would like Java slash walk the
curve and then I would sprint and I did
that for laps around I did some
different exercises down 100 meters like
all the way down so like my legs are
actually killing me already did so many
lunges and get be hopping
I’m just using the field and the stairs
now I’ve got a nice little spot right
here so I’ll just leave you guys while I
do this workout I’m just your workout on
YouTube it’s called the savage stair
workout I think that you’re pretty good
so I’m gonna do that right now it should
take like 15 ish minutes or so

a different type of workout really
reminds me of my track days back
I get kind of insecure when I come to
the truck because there’s all these
legit runners form is impeccable and I’m
just over here just trying to get by oh
my god guys I literally haven’t checked
up on y’all in a while but it is
Saturday it is the weekend so the fam
here is having a good time let me get my
Elvis here
he’s usually just like crushed up on the
couch in a corner and I feel really bad
I feel like everyone’s appears but I
think oh yeah that’s what we’ve been up
to

good morning it is Sunday and we’re
having hey what’s up you guys welcome
back it’s me again we’re here with the
mics
I might assume suit because we’re out in
the yard doing some gardening work
we’re continuing our show last night you
saw we did some karaoke which was really
fun but today we’re doing a joke we’re
gonna say some jokes to each other but
we can’t laugh the first one to Lyla go
loose what do you call someone with no
body and don’t know this nobody nobody
knows ok why did the toilet paper across
the road why it got stuck in a creek

Oh morning is money and I didn’t vlog
the rest of my day yesterday because it
was Sunday sundays are made for me lazy
basically just showed up the house all
day so you didn’t miss out on too much
today we’re starting things right back
up I’m gonna go on a run and then may or
may not do a little homework now
afterwards we’ll see how I feel I just
feel like getting outside I know take my
trailer cow stocks a nutrition I’m
probably gonna run to a place with a
really nice view so I’ll show you guys
when I get there I’ll use my phone later
on but it’s so legal achieve my warranty
prepare one coming the mail very very
soon and I can’t wait hopefully it’ll
cooperate so I can at least play my
music while I run I made it look at that
brick in that is amazing I love this
spot I think I like a 360 view over this
whole place there’s a bunch of different
lookout points in SF but this one I feel
like is whoa whoa okay this one’s one of
my favorites because I can see the
entire Sunset District that is like my
area can also come to the other side of
the park honestly pretty insane didn’t l
SF looks very compact houses are right
next to each other
I mean SF is only seven by seven miles
big small city but there’s a lot of
people live here whoever organized and
put together the city did a really good
job because everything looks so uniform
all its districts are so cohesive I
don’t know this is me taking pride in
the city I like I’m just cooling off now
enjoying the view and then I’m gonna run
back home doctor my run was great and I
honestly had a little moment to myself
up there at the at the park because
looking out at the city I just it hits
different sometimes and I’m just very
appreciative having to stay at home and
be pretty restricted on the places that
they can go and things they can do it
really sucks obviously but having these
amazing areas around me that I can just
run to you and escape for a little while
too is something I never want to take
that’s a little storage but yeah I just
tightening up my room a little bit and I
just put on some brand new fresh
bedsheets or like I just washed them now
I’m gonna just work on my laptop for a
bit edit this vlog and also I have a
really exciting phone call later today I
don’t like talking it up too much before
everything is like secured and whatever
but yeah exciting stuff I feel like a
working woman I’ve got a business call
at around 1:00 ish so I have a couple
hours to crack down on some work are you
guys so I just finished editing the vlog
and I forgot an outro so here I am

vlog I think the title of this video is
gonna be something along the lines of
like staying on track and just like
something regarding my workout
motivation and all that that’s kind of
what I wanted to focus on and also
balance in my life I want to continue to
show you guys how living a healthy
balanced lifestyle is very much jewel
bull and it’s totally in your control
every day doesn’t have to be a perfect
day you don’t have to workout seven
times a week let yourself have that lazy
day I sure did on Sunday and then get
right back to it if you guys want more
