RETRAIN YOUR MIND – Motivational Video Compilation

the world is an ugly and desolate place
at least if that’s what you focus on
here’s the reality you’re gonna get what
you focus on and if you choose to see
what’s wrong if you choose to see what’s
broken if you choose to see all of the
things that are bad then they’re going
to be exaggerated you’re gonna see them
everywhere if you choose to see the ugly
in this world you will literally be
buried in it but if you choose to see
beautiful if you choose to see potential
if you choose to see the things that are
right then all of the sudden you’re
going to be surrounded by that and this
is one of those things that no matter
how much I say it people don’t really
understand the power of focus if you put
your time and energy into what you
decide to see the world will change
there’s literally a region of your brain
that determines whether what you’re
looking at is good or bad positive or
negative but you can take control of
that nothing has to happen by accident
you can literally shape the world before
your eyes think about this the brain is
encased in total darkness light never
touches your brain the movements of the
air that we think of a sound never
actually reach your brain everything
hits your eye your ear and they’re
translated into electrical and chemical
signals and from that can construct a
reality but
we’re living in the matrix right now
even if this is not the computer
simulation I will really here your brain
is still creating a reality
it’s determining what you see now the
question is how much of that are you
going to let happen by accident and how
much are you going to take control and
once you decide to take control and
start constructing optimism positivity
all of a sudden you’re going to have
more energy to attack things because you
believe that they’re going to happen for
you and believe is ultimately the most
powerful thing that you can have if you
believe that your time and attention is
going to be rewarded if your efforts are
going to result in improvement then all
of a sudden you don’t have to worry
about whether you’re good you only have
to worry about how much time and energy
you’re willing to put into something and
once that’s the equation once you’re the
eternal learner once your identity and
your self-esteem is entirely wrapped up
in getting good in becoming great then
you’ll make progress because you’re not
tripping over self-loathing you’re not
tripping over hating who you are or what
you’re capable of you’re not worried
about what you were or weren’t born with
once you get out of that trap do you
start thinking about your potential and
you start thinking about what
that’s when the world opens up to you
but it all comes down to what you focus
so you’ve got to be very careful about
what you allow yourself to see and yes
it is the choice and the question you
have to ask right now is what choice are
you making what things are you deciding
to see what is your world created of
once you take control of that process
then potential becomes limitless but
first you have to know that it all
begins with focus

in life if you want to win you have to
move towards what scares you because
here’s the truth the only form of
winning that’s real is fulfillment it’s
doing something that makes you feel good
about who you are makes you feel good
about who you’re becoming it makes me
feel good not only about serving
yourself but being able to serve others
and the only way to do that the only way
is to get outside of your comfort zone
the only way to adapt and grow and
improve is to push yourself towards the
things that scare you why because fear
is a response to stakes it means that
there’s enough there that matters and
once you identify what matters then you
know what to move towards but whenever
you’re moving in the opposite direction
of the things that scare you you’re
moving away from the very things that
matter your mind triggers because
something is a potential for failure
something is putting you in danger but
the very thing that’s putting you in
danger
is almost certainly emotional danger and
the things that carry emotional danger
are the things that matter to you and
the things that matter to you are the
things that matter most and so to run in
the opposite direction to allow yourself
to give in to that to allow yourself to
see that there are stakes that it
matters that it has meaning and to move
in the opposite direction is to
literally state that you want to stay
small it’s to literally say that you
don’t want to be successful and once you
get in that loop then you begin to a
Roady thing that matters most what you
think about yourself because here’s the
reality maybe nobody else notices maybe
nobody else knows that you’re running
away from the things that scare you but
you’ll know the one person that none of
us can ever hide from is ourselves and
the only thing that really matters going
back to fulfilment talking about the
only way to win is what we think about
ourselves when we’re by ourselves and
who’s there in that moment you the one
person that knows whether or not you
move towards something when you’re
afraid and I’m not saying don’t be
afraid we’re all afraid I’m saying don’t
be crippled by fear I’m saying let it be
a guy let it move you in a direction
have a code that you live by that says
that mandates from you that you move
towards those things that you accept
that even in the face of fear you can
always choose to act
can’t necessarily choose to not be
afraid but you can choose how you
respond to the fear once you separate
those two things then you gain control
and being in control of your life is the
ultimate way to move forward but if you
see yourself as a victim to your mental
states if you allow your emotions to
control what you do and don’t do well
then you’re at the mercy of the whims of
neuro chemistry and you’ve got to rise
above that you’ve got to have a focus
you’ve got to have a goal you have to
know what it is that you want to
accomplish and regardless of whether or
not that scares you in fact because that
scares you that’s got to be the thing
that triggers you to push and go and
develop yourself and develop that
self-worth that comes from facing your
fears doing the hard things being
willing to suffer in service of
something you believe in that’s the key
you’ve got to believe in something
you’ve got to want something you’ve got
to want something so bad that suddenly
the fear is meaningless in the face of
the meaning that is created by doing
that thing by knowing why you’re trying
to do that by having that sit at the
center of who you are and what you’re
trying to bring to this world to know
your why to know who you’re serving to
know what you’re trying to create to
know that you can create it but you’ve
got to be willing to push through the
fear so stop worrying about whether
you’re afraid and start worrying about
whether what you’re pursuing matters
because once you have that you can push
through anything
as Tony Robbins has said progress is the
very foundation of happiness we all want
to find that happiness in our life we
all want to do the things that are going
to bring us to that place something that
hopefully is sustainable but when was
the last time that you really sat down
and mapped out where it was they were
trying to progress and even more
distressingly when was the last time
that you actually set out to make
progress to do the things that we’re
going to push you in order to make the
changes that you need to make in order
to get you going in the right direction
in order to build something more than
what you have today most people most
people spend all of their time stuck in
a rut they’re spinning their wheels
they’ve gotten caught up in the daily
momentum of life that slow rhythm that
rocks everybody to sleep makes us all
forget that one simple truth progress is
the very foundation of happiness so if
you want to make something of your life
if you want to get out of that rut if
you want to start feeling alive the very
thing that you have to do is push
yourself I know it’s counterintuitive I
know that most people think when they
get free time all they want to do is
relax but in that moment if you really
want that joy in your life the things
you have to do at that moment is push
toward something to have a vision of the
person you could become the skills that
you could acquire the things that you
can do with your life and to go after
them to relentlessly pursue to work to
push to really strive for something and
in that in that hard work in the
suffering that comes from that
we bored out that is the joy that we all
seek born of that difficulty of building
something brick-by-brick and becoming
something new born of that struggle and
turmoil is the beauty that you’re
looking for in your life is the way out
of that rut is the way out of all the
monotonous same as it ever was
it’s to push yourself to focus to have a
goal to know what it is that you want
and to build towards that that is the
answer that you seek you’ve got to get
up and you’ve got to do something you’ve
got to push yourself you’ve got a won
and badly enough that you’re gonna go
after it and when you do that then you
can begin to change your life to really
see the fruits of your Labor’s but
you’ve got to push yourself you’ve got
to really want that for yourself
ironically that’s gonna be the thing
that gives you what you want that’s
gonna be the thing that pulls you out of
that rut and really gives you the focus
that you need in order to bring that joy
in your life in order to create that joy
and that’s the reality it’s not
something that you’re going to find it’s
something that you’re going to build so
if you’re stuck if you’re frustrated the
answer isn’t to relax the answer isn’t
to avoid the pain of change
