the world owes you nothing the world doesn't think you're special like your mom does it doesn't think you're a delicate little flower it doesn't care about you now with that being said the world doesn't hate you it doesn't want you to fail it just is okay.
And i see so many people going through their life with this overwhelming feeling of either a the world owes me something or b the world hates me and the reality is it's neither and what's common amongst this group of people that i find is that they're missing the understanding of.
What it means to be successful the cause of this is they're selfish they're self-centered they're self-focused they're only worried about what they see in the mirror and they go around through their daily life trying to manipulate the world in a way that's going to serve them well i think the deck is stacked against.
Everyone to some degree because life is very difficult and we all die so but people some people do have it harder than others and and all of us have it very hard at some times in our lives it's like well what's the what's the alternative you just take responsibility for that and try to struggle uphill because the alternative.
Makes everything worse it's not like it's fair i know perfectly well that people have brutal lives i've been a psychotherapist for 20 years i've seen things you can't imagine it's like should they be bitter should they be resentful should they become violent these things don't help and it's.
Responsibility not guilt you know it's not necessarily their fault that's not the point no matter where you are in life you can take the lid off of your jaw if you're wondering if you still have the lid on in your life here are some clues that's going to let you know that the lid is still on if you're not excited about.
Waking up in the morning if you're sitting around bored out of your mind if you got time to do everything anybody asks you to do if when you tell your dreams to all your friends it makes sense to them you got your lead on man your dreams should be should not make sense to everybody you got to say something to make people go how you.
Going to do that that's when you got the lid off it's too hard life isn't fair these things in life are are not easy for me you you look to your left you look to your right and you start to judge yourself off other people everything starts to corrupt your mind you start to look around too much at.
Other people what they're doing and that starts to corrupt your own dialogue we are judging ourselves against too many people you have to judge yourself against yourself and that's the one thing i started learning man this in the race against me and rich roll.
And once you can silence all that bullsh all the outside interference and things that are attracting your mind to everything you can then start to grow and realizing i'm stressed out for no reason this is my own little race it's my own timeline.
