career maybe I can make something out of
this world what else am I gonna do I
don’t really want to do anything else I
don’t want to get a job I don’t have to

to a boss or do all that you know so
this is an option for me so I stuck with
it and John encouraged John believed in
me and made me believe in myself that we
could go and do this but before us there
was no other Irish man there was no the
US as far as the EOC were concerned
Ireland didn’t exist so it was still
just a dream for us you know I mean but
definitely when I when I met John and
when I start training straight back to
him I start realizing I can I can make a
career out of this I I can do something
that hasn’t been done before I can show
the Irish people true martial arts
something they have never seen before so
that’s what we are in the process of
doing

my name is Connor McGregor and they live
in Lucca and what’s your star what’s
your profession I’m a professional MMA
fighter with a record of four and one
and I’m an up-and-coming fighter and
without a doubt you will see me on the
UFC in the near future what out at them
I started MMA around two or three years
ago on about two years ago today and I
instantly had an AK friend I really
really really loved it’s like an
addiction for me so it’s all I do I
train twice a day that’s all I think
about it’s just I don’t want to do
anything else it’s as simple as that
what makes you such a good fighter I am
I don’t know I’m just curious about it
I’m curious about it it’s never I mean
it’s in my head 24/7 there’s nothing
else I continue I don’t I don’t think
about nothing else
if that’s it I’m just curious
curiously fascinated early and I can’t
stop thinking about everything I do in
my life is is related to this I don’t do
nothing else
it’s
it’s more like an obsession now
everything I do is something to deal
with this now everything I always let me
have I’m always thinking about him I’m
just yeah I’m definitely obsessed with I
was a plumber
as an apprentice plumber I did a year
and that just it just wasn’t for me and
our it’s either it’s either All or
Nothing ended ended the game or maybe
you have to if you’re not if you’re not
trained the toys today if I’m not
dedicated you’re not gonna go anywhere
so I felt I have enough talent and of
dedication enough love for the sport
that was time to pack up my job and
chase me dream and that’s what I’m doing
and that’s that’s what that’s pretty
much it
my dream is to be world champion world
lightweight champion in the UFC have
more money than I know what to deal with
and have a great life for me my kids my
grandkids everyone in my team my family
everyone oh that’s that’s come up with
me that’s my dream

so after I fight when I lost and I’m
looking at all these people and they’re
all celebrating my demise and saying I’m
doing and listen it’s Erin Lee let a
fire under my belly every single person
down with me every single fighter there
with me doubt me now I always know I
only need one chance I always felt I was
better than everybody
I always felt all I needed was to get in
there once just give me one shot and
I’ll take a home I’ll steal it every
time and then that’s also when I got the
call I knew I wasn’t hanging around I
was gonna call her every minute division
I was gonna make my way up to the top as
pasty as as far as possible because I
felt I was ready and I felt I was better
than these people so well obviously the
walk always says you know there’s always
will
if anything as opposed definitely got me
to the gym that bit more net now now
it’s there now all these dreams that
I’ve been having are actually there in
front of me so I walk I walk towards
like I said give me one chance and I’m
gonna take a home so they gave me one
chance and I took a home the two things
I’ve learned from all from these past
seven ones and the warmth is the hard
work pays off and number two is that
dreams come true

is what gives me energy

when preparation meets opportunity you

nothing else matters except me showing
up at the gym every single day important
in the walk to get better

improving when I was a kid I used to I
always be like when I was a kid he’s
always visualized Stadium something and
like even when I was playing football
I’d kick the ball against a wall and
pretend I scored a goal and I’d run off
and I’d be raising my hand and
visualizing that arena full of fans and
that was something I don’t as a kid I’m
out on my own I like just running around
kicking the ball so I always had these
visions of something but I just didn’t
know what it was and then I suppose when
I came to this of these events and I
start training them and they came to an
event was like okay
this is this is what I’m gonna do and
then now I’m bill I knew what happened I
knew I was gonna get here
they didn’t a lot of stress in years a
lot of times I proved them I proved
myself right you’re enjoying great
riches and success now but can you put
yourself in the mindset of the guy who
is waiting in line with other plow
always you remember what that guy was
the case are you daydreaming of this was
that even us every second of every day I
was daydreaming but of course I can go
back and take there
in the position I’m like I’m not me
