[Applause] hi I’m Linda Leon and welcome to inspire this is your network for inspiration and motivation so today what I think that I’m going to be sharing with you is a particular scripture that I really really love that I think it’s very appropriate for this time that the global economy and the world is in in general because we’re facing a pandemic and in our century that has not you know been anything that we’ve had to deal with and all over the world people are experiencing the same thing and because I have always been a part of the online community I get a chance to hear first-hand from people from different countries that I know and they’re telling me the same story you know people are in panic people are in fear they’re troubled by the media because there’s no good news there’s always bad bad bad well I have good news and I thought that’s just perfect for this this season that we’re in it says all has been heard I mean what a wonderful thing and I’m reading from the amplified version of the Bible but it says all has been heard can we not say that can we not say that from what we have experienced with the media with the scientific communities with all of that kind of stuff we’ve heard it all at this point we’re just inundated with news inundated with issues and problems so this really sums it up he says all has been heard everything can’t we can’t we can’t expand upon this anymore it’s only gonna get worse if we do but all has been heard the end of the matter is so you take everything that you have listened to and the things that have maybe upset you or or make you begin to question things so however you want to put it you take all of that so what the end of the matter and it says the end of the matter is fear God and I believe that wholeheartedly I believe if we think that we’re going to get through this crisis with just what the scientists say and what the medical community says and and we leave God out and I’m speaking of the God from the perspective that I know him but maybe when you hear this you’re thinking about God from this perspective did you know him at this point I don’t really care what the perspective is but I’m just going to offer just my little point of view that might encourage and strengthen some of you they’re going through difficulties it says fear God you know this this is this is what we need to do we need to all be praying and calling on the God that we know call him that God call on God as a Christian we only serve one guy you know that’s the only God that I know I am definitely calling on that God I’m saying fear God Revere and worship him knowing that he is and keep his Commandments for this is the whole of man the full original purpose of his creation the object of God’s providence the route of character the foundation now this is the one that really blesses me this is the foundation of all happiness and the adjustment to all in harmonious circumstances and conditions under the Sun and that’s where we are right now we are in in harmonious circumstances and conditions under the Sun but this particular scripture says that God is the adjustment to all of that so we can pray and we can ask God for wisdom we can pray and we can ask God for knowledge stop for a moment and say you know I’ve heard a lot of things a lot of gloomy things things that are sad things that have depressed my spirit is there anything possible that you can show me god that will help me to get through these difficult days and then we can sit back and we can listen to that inner voice that inner guidance that will tell us the way to go that will tell us what to do that will lead us to the truth and and give us the solution to this serious problem that we’re facing it’s going to take more than the best minds it’s going to take a mind that is higher than our natural minds to give us the insight and the wisdom to know what to do because there definitely is a solution and when this is over our world is not going to be the same we’re not going to look at each other the same we’re not going to travel the same way we’re not going to go to the grocery store the same way everything is going to change as a result of this situation and so we have to determine how can we live in this new normal because that’s what it’s going to be it’s going to be normal but it’s going to be a new normal how are we going to live in this new normal what are we going to do to help to safeguard our future so that we don’t run into this problem again so that the global world is prepared for things that happen down the road so everything going on now it’s going to be like a testing thing it’s testing we’re figuring things out we’re finding the way but I’m I’m suggesting that when you look for the way you don’t try to take it within your own strength to do it you go to the higher source the higher power deity and in my world that’s God you go to God and you ask him for guidance and leadership in and try to find a way out of this situation I remember in the United States where I live we had a wonderful minister who was here for almost a hundred years bless his little heart his name was a Billy Graham and Billy Graham was known all around the world he was he was everywhere and people looked up to him and they respected him because he listened to his God he listened to that higher voice and he was able to inspire so many people right now we don’t have a Billy Graham this alive not to my knowledge I understand that I don’t I don’t see another Billy Graham on the horizon but we have to have that type of relationship with God so that we can we can hear the voice of him leading and guiding us and telling us what to do during these difficult times and I was listening to my surf pastor sermon online yesterday because our church right now is online you know we were not congregating we’re taking services online and he said something that was very profound to me he said all of these years we’ve had the luxury of having the altar at the church and we all congregate at the altar at the church for prayer for support for for worship all these wonderful things he said we don’t have that luxury luxury anymore the altar is now in the home when you look at the the visual podcasts of broadcasts or whatever you want to cause when you look at that now you’re in your home you brought that altar into your home and he said maybe just maybe that was one of the things that needed to happen that people began to pull God back into the home and not just think of God just well got to go to this service gotta go to this temple got to go here got to go there you know and never identified that the god of the universe wants to commune with us on a daily basis in our home but now since the we don’t have a physical location to to visit that altar has to come within the home and I’m praying Oh hallelujah I’m praying for everybody who is watching this podcast to let the Spirit of God dwell in your home to provide for you comfort to provide for you Pease to provide for you leadership and guidance in terms of what to do in this hour because this is a unique hour there has never been a time like this in the last century probably century and they have never been anything this globally devastating so we we need to gird up and get strong we need to rely on the Holy Spirit the God that’s in us allow that to come out and and not only give comfort for our own selves but for others around us there going to be people out there who are falling apart and they need somebody somebody’s got to be strong enough to help others to get through these difficulties so take this time as a serious serious serious time not just because of the conditions that are going on around us take this as a serious time for you to do self-examination what are things about myself that I can change what things about myself that I can improve so that I can be of benefit to others we’re in a time of great challenge but we are also in a time of great opportunity this is going to open up doors for people to really get out there and shine their light so I’m encouraging you to do that I’m encouraging you to get strong now for yourselves and your family and then allow that strength to send you to spill out to those around you in the community and right now most of that community is going to be online yeah everybody’s going on online you know you look at places like Netflix or some of these other streaming sources they’re all going up Facebook communities are going up you know chat lines discussions all this things up so there’s a world out there and we’re all connecting we are connecting we might have to have social distancing in place but we’re not distancing we be socially distancing but we’re not distancing we are finding ways to connect online and through technology and even last night my children are in different places and we all got together on FaceTime and had a nice long chat together and that was the first time I had used that part of the technology where all four of us were on the same line it was amazing and we had a wonderful time and even set up a family night where we’re going to play Monopoly together online so we all downloaded the monopoly app and we’re going to set the date and time for this weekend coming up for us to all get together and play Monopoly so you know you use the tools that you have available to connect with people don’t isolate because if you isolate with all of these things that are going on it might not be so good for you in terms of your emotional conditioning but if you go out there and get involved into some little aspect and maybe you know even the seniors they might not be technologically as astute as some of the younger generation but there still ways to connect with seniors we have telephones they are still there we have cell phones they’re still there use those to connect with older people that might be in your community that you know and check on them you know everybody needs to be checking on one another I believe during these times because that is what gives us encouragement that is what gives us hope that is what gives us the ability to keep moving and we have to keep moving we have to understand that this will pass this is not a forever thing but while it’s going on we need to take it serious and we need to understand that things are never going to be the same again things are going to be very different but we can look at different as a good thing we don’t have to look at different as being a bad thing we can we can begin to make changes that are necessary some people are going to be without work unfortunately but you you have to begin to think maybe this is time to reinvent myself maybe this is time to to find out what else I really wanted to do in my but have never done because I’ve always worked I’ve been there before my husband and I have been in situations where we both were out of work at the same exact time and raising young children at that time and it is extremely hard and extremely difficult but we made it through because we trusted God we hung on we listened to that still small voice on the inside of us and that voice led us to create our own business during that time and that’s what we did that was like 14 years ago and we’re still going strong we had to reinvent we made a determination we have been trustworthy without career path we have been faithful to our employees and and then we were just out you know with with no loyalty aspect whatsoever and so when it came to time to make a decision do we go back into that same environment where they don’t have your back or do we just stand up and try to fend for ourselves become self-reliant and do something for ourselves and we opted for self-reliance for change we opted to just get out there and do something and we started our business with zero dollars none we had a phone and we had a service that we knew that we could provide and we got on that phone and and we went through hundreds of calls until we got that one person that said I like your service come do some business for me and then once that’s all you need this one you don’t need but one person I’m talking from experience you don’t need but one person to start you on your way so this is a time to think you know everybody’s running around bored I’m bored don’t be bored use your mind and think about your life what do you want to see in your world going forward since it can’t be like it was in the past what do you want to see what do you want to do these are the things that you need to be looking at at this time instead of just saying hey you know I don’t have anything to do this is a great opportunity for all of us who are willing to go that route great opportunity to see some things happen so I’m going to close again reminding you of this scripture again it’s in ecclesiastics chapter 12 and it starts with verse 13 all has been hurt you can’t it’s not anything else you could say all has been hurt then to the matter is fear God that’s the end of it all just fear God forgotten he already told us if we call upon him he’ll come reverence and worship him knowing that he is keep his Commandments for this is the whole of man the full original purpose of his creation the object of God’s providence the route of care to the foundation of all happiness the adjustment to all in harmonious circumstances and conditions under the Sun all of them so this this what’s going on right now this cannot exceed God because he is the adjustment he’s the one he’s the adjustment to all in harmonious circumstances and conditions under the Sun and the whole duty for every man so I pray that you’ve gotten encouraged from this message and I hope that as I leave other messages in the future you will be encouraged as well because that’s what inspires all about the network inspire is for your inspiration and your motivation and just something to
