EXTREME CLEAN WITH ME 2020 // INSTANT CLEANING MOTIVATION 🧹
oh keep on driving and driving along me and all the red lights so hello everyone and welcome back to my channel or if you guys are new i am katie and in today’s video we are going to be doing a lot of cleaning yesterday was my oldest son’s birthday he turned eight years old and we did a little party here at the house with some family we did like a space themed pizza party i did like a balloon garland arch thing and tons of balloons are all over my house right now um gifts trash bag full of wrapping paper just everything that goes along with having a party i didn’t pick up last night i was so tired between the first day of school and then just moving right into party day for rylan so um i just kind of crashed last night and said you know what i’ll do it tomorrow so here i am it’s tomorrow i’m actually gonna be cleaning up a little bit before we head into the backyard and swim a little bit today i have my bathing suit on already it’s going to be over 100 here where i’m at in california and so i figured i’ll go ahead and clean up the house and then take the rest of the day to relax today is saturday and i’m hoping to actually have this video up tomorrow for you guys so you guys can enjoy it and get motivation to clean your homes so anyways that’s where we’re at and that’s what’s in today’s video so let’s do it it never rings in california the sun is always shining right people are smiling making plans hiding behind their shades and you’re doing the same knowing no flowers nothing’s growing where your heart is fire but baby i bet you’re cold without me even when it’s 90 degrees i bet you’re cold it never rings in california the sun is always shining bright but if the sky would open up you’re staying home you don’t get out you always used to love the rain but la changed when it’s 90 cause i’m not there beside you keeping you warm at night you’re so damn calm you’re so damn cold no rain no flowers nothing’s growing where your heart is fire but baby you’re so damn calm it never rings in california the sun is always shining right so it’s really crazy usually leading up to like hosting a birthday party or hosting an event here at my house i always get like the worst anxiety and i always stress myself out running around the house trying to clean and make everything perfect and just be as prepared as possible but it’s so funny because this time around i was totally calm i barely even cleaned my house and i really think a big part of that is just being consistent around the house and just kind of cleaning as i go and it just made the whole thing a lot more enjoyable and i was able to just sit down and actually visit with my guests run the disney when you guys clean where in your house do you usually start for some reason i find myself always starting downstairs in the kitchen and usually with the dishes either unloading the dishwasher or if it’s empty doing the dishes and then loading the dishwasher and i don’t mean to do it it’s just where i kind of find myself starting and then i kind of go from the dishes to the countertops and then to the floors and then i find myself kind of spill over into the family room so that’s what we are going to be doing today but comment below and let me know when you get up to clean what area of your home do you usually start in it just wouldn’t be a proper cleaning video if i didn’t have some go ahead and have that linked below for rylan’s birthday party i cleared off this island so i could display his cake and his cupcakes they came out so good i used a local baker and we did like a space galaxy theme and i was able to send her a picture and she recreated it i’ll see if i can pop it on the screen right here but i did like this whole display with like the cake and a cute little happy birthday leather board and everything so this island i love being able to have it when i entertain and just set up like a really special area for like rylan for his birthday it just turned out so well so now i’m just putting my island back together and wiping it you brought out down best in me we had everything we you needed needed to me it was clear but you lied to me now i keep thinking these floors drive me so crazy as much as it’s nice to have tile with like kids and spills and when you live in a hotter climate it does help keep the downstairs cooler but just this is not my style tile at all i feel like it always looks dirty no matter what i do and then when it actually is dirty needs to be cleaned it looks 10 times more dirty like i haven’t cleaned it in forever so after entertaining yesterday and people were in the pool and coming in and out they just really really needed a good vacuum and a good mop so that’s what i’m going to go ahead and do before i move on to the next space a couple videos ago i mentioned how like my quick spray mop that i like to just bust out for like quick cleans or spot cleans broke and the sprayer doesn’t work but i’m able to use like my squirt mop by method that i get at target and it’s great for like those in between mops but like i said from the party my floors were looking pretty dingy so i busted out my old faithful spin mop i love this thing i got mine at target i think it was around thirty dollars but i believe you can buy them online and amazon and whatnot but if you don’t have one of these oh cedar spend mops not sponsored literally just love this mop you definitely need one nothing left you thinking that maybe you’re not different oh look here he goes from time inside all that greatness and all of your hold up adventures i can’t sit beside you while you’re going on about your simple life nothing left you thinking that maybe you’re not different up oh here it goes here it goes here it goes while i was cleaning my sister came over she lives about an hour away um from like the san diego area and she drove up here to spend time with the birthday boy and hang out with us it’s also my parents birthday weekend so just a lot going on this weekend so they all went outside and started swimming in the pool while i finished up this video and so i was just kind of clearing off her stuff off the table and the rest of the boys stuff because they had just got done eating lunch and then we will go ahead and move into the family room i had a nice little giggle to myself i was hanging these banners the night before um because i actually timed them to my black my blinds using the quick release knot that i use when i tie my horse to the hitching post when i go ride or groom them or take care of them and look how easy those came off so you know what my horse skills i definitely bring them home with me and use them to my advantage is me safe and soon i can’t believe that he is so this was where i had the big balloon arch again i’ll see if i can find a picture to insert here but i tied these letters or these gold foil balloons to the blinds not using my quick release knot and i did like these cute little press-on nails last night when i was watching tv and oh my gosh like i feel like i cannot do anything with these like trying to untie the screen the string with nails was a serious struggle they got me is [Applause] why he’s we say that it’s too late for us now why do we stay when i blame me for the things that weigh me i’m thinking who gets the better i need the better thank you all right you guys this is the only other thing that i would touch is my downstairs bathroom i love to do a good cleaning in my bathroom after i entertain but my sister came over today to spend time with us and rylan for his birthday since it was yesterday and she lives about an hour away so i think i’m gonna go ahead and just cut this short here and go spend time with family i hope you guys enjoyed this speed clean quick
