the wall is upside down

and you
are still standing up you’ve already won
the first battle the second is in your
mind

so we may be confined by physical walls
your mentality does not suffer the same
fate your ambition is not incarcerated
you are not a prisoner of this process
me there’s your future it is not under
locking key your plans are just on pause
just until our land can heal
until we leave this season and enter in
new one
when we are beckoned to greener pastures
by the outstretched graze of the Sun
like warmest you
