Clean the ENTIRE HOUSE with Us! | Realistic Clean With Me | Cleaning Motivation
– [Raven] Move, Bougie!
(upbeat music)
Hey guys, what’s up?
It’s Raven.
Welcome back to my channel.
Today’s video is going to
hopefully be very satisfying
and motivating for you guys,
because this is going to
be a clean with us vlog.
And I’m saying us and not clean with me
because Ziya is going
to be helping me clean
the house today, okay?
A large part of this disaster is her mess,
and she’s four years old,
which means she’s definitely capable
of helping around the house.
You guys already know that she has chores.
She has daily chores,
we have a chore chart.
If you have not seen that video,
check out that video, all
about her normal daily chores,
and how I set that up,
and how that’s going.
Other than just her daily chores,
sometimes, I’m looking around right now
and I’m about to show you,
sometimes we get to a point
where certain things have not been done
and the house is messy,
and we need to take like a whole day
to get it back in order.
Now, I’m not gonna lie to you guys,
and a lot of you already know this,
but I do have a cleaning
service, a housekeeping service,
that I use religiously.
Right now, while we’re under
lockdown and quarantine,
and it’s really not a good idea
for me to have the cleaning
service coming once a week,
especially because one of
the main ladies who comes
and cleans is actually immunocompromised,
hopefully I said that right.
Hopefully that’s the accurate
way to describe that.
I wish they could work,
but I also don’t want to
put anybody in danger.
So anyway, long story short,
right now we can’t really
have the cleaning service come
regularly, like we normally would,
and today the house is
looking kinda messy.
Not too, too bad, because
I’m not a total slob,
and Ziya has her daily chores,
but I did want to give you
guys a realistic view as to
what my house can end up looking like
and what it looks like for us
to kinda tidy up a little bit.
So first thing I wanna do
is start from the front door
and give you guys an overview
of what my house actually
looks like today.
So, random shoes, a random toy right here.
There’s a lotta random toys and shoes.
That’s a big thing.
Glam room is looking pretty good,
compared to how it normally looks.
This room gets really messy really easily.
I definitely have makeup
that I should have put away.
A few little pieces of
equipment, but not too bad.
This bathroom is still clean.
Nobody ever really uses that bathroom.
Powder room bathroom,
pretty clean, pretty good.
We’re not gonna be doing
any type of deep cleaning,
scrubbing floors, scrubbing toilets today.
This is more so just tidying
up, picking stuff up,
putting stuff back where it goes,
because as you can see, we have
a bubble wand sitting here,
we have laundry sitting
here, in the entryway.
Going into the living
room, shoes, socks, toys.
Why are there so many
toys in the living room
when Ziya has a playroom
to play in upstairs?
I don’t know.
All over the couch, coffee table,
and this whole downstairs
living room area.
Toys just get scattered
around in every corner,
where you least expect it.
Under the couch tends to have toys
and all types of nonsense under here too.
It’s actually not looking too bad today.
Hmm, wonder who put that there?
Speaking of which, are you
gonna help me clean up today?
Hello?
– Yes.
– [Raven] Okay.
All kinds of stuff, dining room table.
She has a whole playroom upstairs
and I’ve been trying to tell her,
“Why don’t you play in your playroom?”
But I guess every other
space around the house
is better than her playroom.
– Yeah, it’s more brighter
so I can see.
– [Raven] It’s more brighter?
But you have big windows
in your playroom too.
Anyways, continuing on with the overview.
Yes, we still have this moon
sand project sitting here
from days ago, as well as art supplies
and other stuff sitting
here from that video.
If you guys have not seen that video,
10 indoor activities you
can do with your kids.
Kitchen, you know, dishes.
Just a few dishes, just
from one day of dishes.
The dishwasher has been emptied.
There’s some silverware in there.
So not like a whole big pile
of nasty dishes or anything.
This is just a few pots and pans,
a few things here, dishes here.
Definitely coulda put that
away right when I was done,
but you know, life gets
in the way sometimes.
Ziya’s breakfast stuff
that she was supposed
to put away right when she was done.
She didn’t do that either.
It’s not like the floors are disgusting
or everything is extremely
dusty or anything like that.
It’s just more so stuff
needing to be put away,
like this was supposed to go upstairs.
I was gonna move it from the
garage to somewhere upstairs.
It never made it upstairs,
so it’s been chilling here.
The mini office, the llama office,
pretty clean, for the most part.
Laundry room.
Kitty, you taking a nap in here?
Not filthy dirty, but just
stuff that should be put away.
The litter area definitely
needs to be cleaned up,
and the dryer.
When you got stuff in the dryer
but you don’t put everything away,
but then you go digging in the
dryer for one specific thing,
and then your dryer ends
up looking like this.
Don’t lie to me and tell me
that y’all haven’t done this before.
So stuff out of the dryer
needs to be put away.
This is Bougie’s room so,
it doesn’t smell too
good in here, (chuckles)
but we can tidy it up and make it better.
– ‘Cause of the poop.
– [Raven] ‘Cause of the
poop it stinks in here?
Yeah, I didn’t even scoop
the litter box today yet.
We’re just getting our day started.
Okay, so in here in the laundry room,
kitty has his own drawer,
well really, he owns
this whole laundry room.
It’s shared between actual
laundry and cleaning stuff
and kitty stuff,
but kinda have all his
stuff thrown in this drawer,
but I wanna fix it up,
and I got a new box of cat food.
(chilled music)
Move, Bougie.
You are just right in the way.
Wow.
If I turn ’em all around I
could see what flavor they are,
not that it really matters,
but, all stocked up.
This goes in the mini office.
This is stuff that we’re returning.
This is recycling now.
(chilled music)
There.
Cleared that off.
So now, this is looking better in here.
For the litter box area I
have this mat right here
that catches everything as he walks out.
So every week or so I just do this.
Its like when you’re trying
to save glitter, (chuckles)
and then you just dump it back in there.
And then his bowl goes
at the end of the line,
where the litter doesn’t
reach or touch it.
Probably about time to empty
this Litter Genie as well.
Please hold.
Move, Bougie, you’re in the way.
Oh, now you want to use the litter box.
I’m trying to do something.
Big bag of poop goes in the dumpster.
There, I cleaned your room, kitty.
So, coming upstairs.
First of all, aerial
view of the living room.
And the kitchen.
A realistic view, guys.
If you wanted to see a real
normal day, here you go.
Here’s the playroom.
We are in the middle of trying
to redecorate this room,
so it’s awkwardly empty in some areas,
awkwardly disorganized in other areas.
And of course, toys everywhere,
because Ziya has to entertain
herself at home all day.
She tends to dump things out.
And I try to tell her, “You
don’t gotta dump stuff out.”
This is what this is looking like.
Over here in this corner.
The couch.
Even inside the playhouse
looks like a earthquake hit.
What happened to your playhouse?
– There was a earthquake last night.
– [Raven] There was a
earthquake, for real?
– Yeah.
– [Raven] Hmm.
– It shaked like this.
– [Raven] Really?
Craft room still looking good.
It’s been cleaned up and it
hasn’t been touched since,
so this room we can
pretty much leave alone.
Going into Ziya’s room, sleeping bag,
clothes on the floor.
Sometimes as parents we get tired
of telling our kids over and
over again to pick this up,
pick that up, pick this up,
or we don’t even know, or don’t realize,
and they’re not doing it on their own,
and then things just end
up all over the floor.
Hmm, I wonder who did that?
– I was trying to get my flower dress.
– Bed was kinda made,
but definitely need to pick
up some stuff in here, right?
This is her closet.
Her bathroom, again, dirty
clothes, dirty clothes,
dirty clothes, dirty clothes
that need to be picked up.
Bath toys should be gathered up.
Trash needs to be emptied.
Why is there a sink next to the sink?
I don’t know.
Why is there a bowl from
the kitchen up here?
I don’t know.
All right, you guys, so that
was a behind the scenes,
inside exclusive, TMZ look at what
my house really looks
like on any given day,
not that it looks like this every day.
And sometimes it looks worse than this.
It just kinda depends.
But this is how it looks today,
and now we’re gonna get
to cleaning, so enjoy.
Oh, ha ha,
I don’t know how I conveniently forgot
(chuckles) to show you guys
my room, and my bathroom.
I didn’t even make my bed this morning.
That’s as real as real can get.
We all have a chair in our
room that gathers the laundry.
I promised myself that I would
not let this beautiful chair
become that chair.
And look, that is just disrespectful.
I’ve also got lights in my room,
from a video I was filming.
Who baby is this in my room?
I don’t know.
But my bathroom, yikes.
Yikes.
Yikes.
Big yikes.
Big,
big
yikes.
Okay, my bathroom turns into a hair salon
a few times a week, okay,
when I’m switching from
a wig to my natural hair,
to a ponytail style, to,
I got a lotta extensions,
and wigs, and so many different products
for so many different types of styles,
whether it be natural hair
products, stuff for wigs,
stuff for slicked-back ponytails.
Different, I mean, the
amount of tools it takes
and products it takes, to
achieve different styles
just really ends up making a big mess,
and when I’m rushing I don’t clean up,
I’m not good at cleaning as I go.
Okay, I said it.
And why do I have a bad habit
of leaving my cabinet doors open?
I don’t know.
There’s no excuse.
For me being such a Virgo,
I don’t understand this part
of my personality, but here it is.
The floors are relatively clean.
Toilet’s clean.
Closet could definitely be improved.
This happened because I ran out of hangers
to hang up my clothes.
Dirty clothes, why is that open?
I think I dumped out something
’cause I was looking
for something back here.
Hmm.
And I’m gonna let Ziya
eat a snack real quick,
while I get started in my room first.
So first things first,
gotta make this bed.
Move, Bougie!
(chilled music)
Little hack that I like to do.
I don’t think this is really
going to apply to anyone,
’cause it’s so specific,
but I take a coaster
when I’m trying to tuck
my bed into the frame,
’cause it has this outside
frame, to tuck it in.
(chilled music)
Okay, bed is made.
Is it perfect?
No.
Is it as beautiful as it could be?
No.
I haven’t really figured
out my pillow situation.
These are just the pillows
that I have so far.
I’m definitely going to
get different pillows
and land on a much better
arrangement at some point,
but at least it’s made, and it’s clean.
So,
next thing is to get this
stuff out of the way.
Onto the bathroom.
While I got these clothes in my hand,
I’m gonna go ahead and gather
up any other towels and stuff
that needs to go in the hamper.
It’s easier to gather
up like items as you go.
So go through and get all your
laundry, get all the trash.
Everybody gotta have a water bottle
for when they’re doing their
hair, and mine fell and busted,
so I ordered another one off of Amazon.
I need to throw this away.
See, I’m the type of
person to look at this
and be like, “But this is
a perfectly good bottle.
“I feel like I could
use this for something.”
The sprayer does not work.
What do I need this for?
Get rid of it.
I’m low-key a hoarder, okay.
I know.
Need to go ahead and put this
stuff away, where it goes.
This little area right here is where
I keep my most used everyday
products, for the most part.
So I try to make sure that only
these set products are here.
So everything else, besides
what’s in this tray,
gets cleared off.
And then over here,
this is just a matter of
putting products and tools away.
Ahhh!
My poor hair extensions.
Okay.
(chilled music)
I have different baskets
in my closet right here.
Straight hair and wigs products,
and this is curly hair products.
So, I just put it
where it goes.
Curling wand was really in the sink.
That’s not good.
It wasn’t plugged in though.
At least I’m smart enough to
not have my stuff plugged in.
I like to leave my Dyson on the counter,
’cause it’s got the nice, pretty stand.
So, might as well just leave that there.
So yeah, good news is pretty
much everything has a spot
where it goes, so it
was easier to clean up.
These need to be washed,
de-tangled, laid out to dry.
A whole thing that I’m not
doing as part of this video.
We’re gonna have to put
’em somewhere for now.
And the last thing is
that I was cutting my wig
and the hair is still in the sink,
so that needs to be cleaned up.
And then we’re pretty much
done with the bathroom.
(chilled music)
No!
Get down!
No.
No.
Kitty, are you kidding me?
Get down.
I give up.
And then here he comes,
to the other side.
All right, bathroom is
looking a lot better.
Everything is put away.
And now I’m moving onto the closet,
which only really needs
a little bit of work.
(chilled music)
So, I’ve got about 10
more pieces of clothes
that I just don’t have a hanger for,
and these are things
that need to be hung up.
I don’t wanna put ’em in my dresser
’cause they don’t belong there.
It’ll get mixed up.
So, actually I have a stool right here.
Okay, so at least it’s up off the floor.
This will have to stay here
until I get some more hangers.
All this stuff right here though,
that’s on this little sticky-outy pole,
it actually goes somewhere else.
Bottoms, skirts and pants go down here.
And now, this little thing is cleared off.
That can retract back in there.
Everything is
put away.
I do have another one on this side though.
This is my robe.
This thing can now retract into there.
(chilled music)
Okay, and that is my
room pretty much done.
Bed is made, room is cleared out.
Bathroom is cleared,
everything put away, wiped down.
Just a quick little wipe
down, quick little vacuum,
make sure there’s no hair on the floor.
And the closet.
Everything is hung up
and put where it goes.
Oops, just noticed something.
What’s going on here?
This needs to be hung
up in a different spot,
so that’ll go in that pile.
Surfaces cleared off of any clutter.
Floors cleared off.
And that is that.
(chilled music)
All right, next up is the living room.
