there is no excuse for not being the hardest worker yeah someone might be smarter cleverer wiser wealthier whatever but there is no excuse to not be the hardest worker in the room just commit for the first time in your life truly commit to your studying see what happens there are no losers in the world of passion and commitment to something no one loses there the losers are the people that sit at the starting line and never initiate why not believe in it what’s the other option spending hours every day watching every series on netflix and then what how will that help you down the line how will that boost your income in the future how will it make you healthier or happier today we’re gonna start and every day we’re gonna pay our days dues you’re not gonna close any more windows this day it changes every day forward is a better day no longer are we going to accept society telling us that average is okay average is a weak mentality we must believe it so much so that we’re arrogant about it we must be striving for excellence it doesn’t matter about our past it’s today that matters what are we doing today are we going to engage now and once we engage we commit and once we engage it’s every day we engage because that’s the better life it’s your option though what are you going to do the next time you go to class have a look around you at your friends and your classmates because they’re your competition when you graduate you will be competing against them for the same scholarships the same internships the same graduate jobs and that can be a problem because some of them are smarter than you some of them are wealthier and have better resources than you some of them have parents in high places that can easily land them a job but listen to me this is important there’s one variable that you have over all those other students they will not outwork you they can’t outwork you they can’t out study you they don’t even come close your work ethic is on another level so now you have to show them that you’re going the same places they’re going and then further you don’t need the handouts from wealthy parents you don’t need the advantages that some of your classmates have you’re going to do this on work ethic alone because once you start to optimize your work ethic and hustle harder than any of your classmates thought possible you’ll be able to bring that mindset to any other situation anything you want in life any dream any ambition any career any goal you’ll have the phenomenal work ethic to make it happen because work ethic has nothing to do with anything else work ethic is between you and you it’s 100 in your control so you got to go out and show them strive for greatness do everything in your power to achieve the grades you need to achieve to get to where you want to be because your journey isn’t going to be easy but that’s the beauty of it the problems and obstacles that you face will make you stronger more determined more resilient to adversity by the end of the day when your head hits the pillow you should be exhausted because when you dream those goals that you have there are other people in your class with those exact goals with those exact dreams when you’re striving for a plus grades everyone else in your class is striving for the exact same thing so you’ve got to set yourself apart from the crowd you’ve got to do something differently you’ve got to study so hard and so smart that no one else is able to catch up with you and i’ll leave you with the words of greg plint there comes a day where and everyone has this day there comes a day where being average being mediocre just burns it sucks so much you can’t deal with it one more day and you get up and you light a spark that has always been there it’s always been inside of you trying to come out but you’ve never wanted to light it because it’s too much pain and commitment you were scared you were gonna fail you were scared if you started you’d never finish it you knew it was there but you never wanted to embark on it until something hits you fail an exam or you miss out on the scholarship or you have to repeat a year and it reminds you of what you could have been and then that flame is born and no matter what happens you’re never going to be in this boat again and you get up and you just keep going and keep going life has never been so sweet it’s time to unwrap the potential of what you can be it’s within you and the people that have risen to that level were no different than any one of us it’s just that they believed it and they were willing to work as much as what was necessary to get it it wasn’t about the potential it wasn’t about the genetics it was all about being the hardest worker in the room as eric thomas says i want you to know when you dream your dream that there are other people who are dreaming the exact same dream when you said to yourself this is what i want to accomplish you’re not the only person that wants to accomplish it and now i ask you this question what do you do when a thousand other people want exactly what you want what do you do when you’re not the only one that is aiming for the grades you’re aiming for what do you do when you’re not the only one that wants to make a million dollars a year company you’re not the only one that wants to be a ceo what if you’re not the only one that wants what you want what if there are thousands of other people who want what you want you have to outwork them you gotta out grind them you gotta get up earlier than them and stay up later than them you’ve got to execute and you’ve got to go from 70 to 120 from studying six hours a day to studying nine hours a day you
