i cleaned out both of the girls rooms i
like really deep clean them
and i went through their clothes and
stuff and i’m showing you here some of
the built up dirt you guys can’t really
see this on camera but it is there so i
wanted to make sure i showed it to you

i’m getting started in my youngest
daughter’s room
her furniture is from ashley furniture i
know i’m going to get asked that
question i don’t know the name of it
i’ll try and find it and link it for you
because i know it is still available but
my oldest daughter’s is not still
available you’ll see that here
in a second but i’m just going through
her room as a disaster as you can see
and i’m going to just pick up everything
and clean it really good and then i’m
going to go ahead and go through her
clothes
so what i’m using to clean with is just
the purple
the lavender fabuloso in that glass
spray bottle i’ve mixed it with water
and that’s what i’m using i’ve been
using that a lot lately just because it
smells really good and the scent lingers
it’s a multi-purpose cleaner so
i can use it on all sorts of things so
that’s what i’m using today in case you
were curious
and i’m showing you a close-up here of
her foot board
it’s not really that bad because i do
maintain
the furniture madeline’s is a little
worse just because bailey sleeps in
there and she sheds really bad
but as you can see it’s dusty there’s
some hair there’s some crumbs
it is dirty so i like to wipe it down
periodically
because when i’m just going through and
doing like a typical clean with me
i might just dust it or wipe down like
the main spots but i don’t get all of
these little spots and they can get
built up with dirt and dust so i always
want to make sure i go in every few
months
and wipe the entire thing down and as
you could see
my dog tucker was laying under the bed
there and a little bit later you’ll see
him laying under madeleine’s bed when i
was cleaning her room is so funny i
didn’t even know he was under there when
i was filming

so i did have this bucket of clothes
that were madeline’s clothes when she
was a little girl
and they finally fit kinsley so i had
went through those
and kinsley had tried on a bunch of them
and so i wanted to wash
those as well as her regular laundry so
i had a really big low but fortunately
my washer you can do really big loads in
it
so i’m just washing it all together on
cold water that way no
the colors bleed and it works just fine
for me and i’m using my favorite
percil pro clean and the intense fresh
that smells so good and then my gain in
the original
the little scent beads and then the blue
swab a towel they’re so
good they smell amazing they’ll make
your laundry smell so good
so i went ahead and just started that
load of laundry and it was a ton to fold
i didn’t film it i did fold it and put
it away that night though
so that is like a huge accomplishment
for me because i hardly ever
can get one load of laundry done in the
same day

so when i was over here cleaning
kenzie’s nightstand she came in and she
wanted to help me clean
so she brought me a rag and asked if she
could so i sprayed a little bit of
cleaner on there
for her and she was trying to help me i
thought it was so cute
[Music]
i wanted to show you this quick tip for
your scentsy or any wax warmer that is
if you take a cotton ball and you put it
into the hot wax it will soak it right
up and that way you can switch out your
scents which
when one of them doesn’t smell good
anymore this is just the fastest way to
do it i know there are several different
ways but i like using the cotton balls
because it’s instant i don’t have to
worry about sticking the tray in the
freezer or anything like that so
you just stick them usually it only
takes one but i had a couple
that had melted in there so there was
quite a bit of wax so i went ahead and
used two but if you just stick those
cotton balls in there
it will soak that wax right up and then
you can switch out your scents and i was
using black raspberry vanilla
kinsley picked it i said you can go
downstairs and pick any scent you want
for your room and that’s the one she
picked and it is one of my favorites

all right so now i wanted to get started
on her bookshelf she has a ton of books
we were a part of the imagination
library
if you don’t know what that is i’m not
sure if they have it in all states but
it’s by dolly parton she has this
thing called the imagination library and
when you are
in the hospital you can fill out this
when you have your baby and you’re in
the hospital you can fill out
this little pamphlet and you might even
be able to do at the pediatrician’s
office as well i can’t remember it’s
been so long since i’ve had a baby but
i did it with both girls and so what
they do is for the first five years of
their life every month they get a book
in the mail from the imagination
librarian it’s totally free
so she has a ton of books we’ve gotten
rid of some of them over the years
but she still has a ton so we wanted to
go through those and get rid of some of
the ones that were more babyish
and then i organized them i did the
dr seuss books in a pile and then i did
her like look and find books which she
really loves her look and find books
i did those in a pile and then she has
some
that were made especially for her with
her name on them
and they have like our names in them too
they’re really cool i can’t remember the
company that i had made those but
if you’re interested let me know and
i’ll try to figure it out but
you can see that one there that says
kensley’s i think kinsley’s
fantastic family adventure um
so i put those out so she could find
them easier and then i have one
that is about our dog oscar that passed
away i actually found a company that
makes
books about your dogs or cats that have
passed away in that book i cannot even
read it without crying
it’s so emotional for me because it’s so
cute and it talks about them being gone
and stuff
oh it’s just adorable if you guys are
interested i can read it to you on
instagram let me know and i totally will
i don’t know if i’ll be able to get
through it without crying
but it’s a wonderful keepsake for me and
the girls to have so i really do love
that book

so i was putting some clothes and these
books into a bag because i actually give
all of kinsley’s clothes and
any like toys or books or anything like
that and then shoes to a friend of mine
who has a daughter who’s a little bit
younger she actually just had another
baby girl
so now i’m hoping that some of these
clothes will last
and she’ll be able to hand them down to
her as well but i love seeing kenzie’s
clothes on her daughter
it just makes me so happy when i see
pictures of her wearing stuff
because they go through their clothes so
quick when they’re this age and i just
feel like they hold so many memories and
so sometimes it’s really hard to give
them up
but it’s a lot easier when i’m giving
them to somebody who i know is going to
enjoy them and then
i get to see their kids wearing them so
i love being able to do that

so i’m just using this oxiclean pet
fresh carpet
odor eliminator powder on the carpet
upstairs i don’t use this
all the time but i’ve been using it more
recently just because i like to change
my routines up i like to add new things
and do different things so
i have been doing this lately so i just
sprinkle it on the carpet you let it sit
for a little bit and it’s supposed to
remove any odors and just freshen up
your carpet
so i’m sprinkling it on there i’m gonna
let it sit
while i clean kensley’s bathroom
so this is kinsley’s bathroom it’s right
out for her room and in case you’re
wondering her closet is in there as well
it’s just really hard to see because
it’s behind that door
so i’m just using some clorox bleach in
here to spray down her toilet and then
i’m just gonna use
the fabuloso for her sink and then i’m
using the
lavender comment for the bathtub now i
love this stuff it smells amazing but
it’s really hard to find sometimes i can
get it at walmart but a lot of times
it’s out of stock
so when i do find it i stock up on it
because it smells so good
and it cleans really well as well so
that’s what i’m cleaning her bathroom
with
and i wanted to talk to you guys a
little bit about
our plans for him here so we are going
to be painting
her cabinet as well as madeline’s but
we’re going to be painting her cabinets
i think i’m going to do
white and then i need to replace that
mirror because i don’t know if you can
tell on camera but
i believe they stuck it up there with
something like liquid nails or something
but it completely ruined the glass
so that whole mirror needs to be
replaced so i’m going to be replacing
that
i’m going to replace the lighting in
there just because it’s kind of like the
basic builder grade and i just want to
put something a little prettier in there
and i’m also going to be painting the
walls because i don’t like this color it
might be some people’s thing
i think probably a few years ago i
probably would have actually painted it
that color
but i’ve been gravitating more towards
lighter colors lately
so i think i’m going to paint it like a
really light gray i want it to be
neutral and something that can last for
a while and we can change out decor and
not have to worry so much about
the paint color so that’s my plans and
i’m hoping to get that done within the
next week
or two if i can talk my husband into
helping me because i am going to need
his help with sanding and things like
that
but i’m super excited so if you want to

okay so now i’m going to clean my older
daughter’s room
she is 12 and tucker had sat himself up
in her bed and he was just looking so
cute and i had the window open the
breeze was blowing in
and he was being adorable but this is
her messy room and it’s actually not
that messy right now because she did
pick it up a little bit before i filmed
because she was embarrassed as she
should have been
but as you can see there’s trash on the
floor and
she just doesn’t close her drawers or
pick up her laundry
or do really anything in there i guess
that’s just
being the age she is but i usually have
her clean her room once a week she
cleans it on her own but i wanted to go
in and do a really good
deep clean myself and just make sure it
was getting really good and clean
so that’s what i’m doing on this day i
went and did basically the same exact
things that i did in kinsley’s room
i did in her room i wanted to just wipe
down the furniture get all the little
cracks and stuff where the dust
accumulates especially
in her room because bailey does sleep
with her so there’s dog hair
but i wanted to make sure that i got the
carpets vacuumed really well and just
everything
wiped down to my standards so that’s
what i’m doing in here and i will link
her twinkly lights that are around the
ceiling for you in the description box
um i showed those on instagram they’re
really pretty and they have a bunch of
different settings
so they do different sorts of like
twinkling fast and slow and
they’re just really really pretty i got
them on amazon so i will link those for
you

her bedding is by pioneer woman and i
got it at walmart but they
i cannot find it anyways online anymore
um it’s the breezy dot collection but
they don’t seem to sell that comforter
anymore but i’m sure she has several
like it because white comforters are
really in right now
it was in the guest room but we just
moved into her room
and then her curtains are also from
walmart

they are really inexpensive and really
cute i love
walmart’s curtains because i feel like
they are like
priced so well compared to a lot of
other places

i’m using this cauldrea linen spray i’ve
showed this in several of my videos
but this london spray is really nice it
was a
it was a boutique brand only where they
only sold it in boutiques and they still
do
not go takes maybe i should saying that
wrong maybe it was gift shops
but like it’s like a gift shop brand but
then grove collaborative started selling
it and i believe you can get it on their
website as well some people are telling
me
also i’ve heard some people tell me that
they sell it at their target
i wish they sold it at mine but they
don’t unfortunately but they have
cleaning products as well as that linen
spray and it just smells
so good and it lingers for days
it’s like my favorite linen spray it is
a little bit pricey but the bottle will
last you a really long time i’ve had
mine for
months and months and months in fact i
haven’t even bought
any new since we’ve moved in this house
in october and i use it all the time
so it is expensive but it does last a
really long time

i was using the scent pink cotton in
madeleine’s room i let her choose which
scent she wanted and she chose that one
it’s a new one
to me anyways i just ordered a new
scentsy order
a couple of weeks ago and i got that one
in there and it smells so good it’s one
of my new favorites so the black
raspberry vanilla is really good
and i love the pink cotton as well

okay so that was all that i felt up to
doing on that first day so this
is the next day but i did want to get
the bottom part of the house cleaned as
well
so i wanted to clean the kitchen and the
living room up so this is the kitchen
it’s not really that messy or so it
appears on camera but it is really
actually dirty you’ll see my appliances
they’ve got fingerprints and food
spilled on them
so i really wanted to wash them up and
i’m going to show you what product i use
to clean those i also got new lighting
for mother’s day
so i’m showing you that here it is from
home depot i will link it for you guys
in the description box i felt like it
was really affordable as well
it took me so long to figure out what i
wanted in here
and i finally figured out that i wanted
these and once i got them up i’m so
happy
it’s so much lighter in there and
brighter and i just love them i feel
like there’s so much more my style
what was up there was not my style at
all and then the chandelier over the
table was the original one to the house
it didn’t even match
the new lighting in the like main
kitchen area so
it was mix-matched it wasn’t my style so
i’m really excited and happy to have

pieces that still had water and then our
store was broken

dream she had the night before so i
wanted to include that was really funny
how she was holding bailey and bailey

please help me save me from this child
but she’s so sweet she tolerates so much
from kinsley
i mean we make sure kinsley is nice and
gentle with her obviously but she’s
still going to be a kid
and she just loves dogs like she love
love loves them and so it’s like
over love and overkill for the dogs
sometimes are like
leave me alone and bailey was like
please help me but i thought her little
dream was cute so i wanted to leave that
in there

and i messaged her and i said what is
this stuff and she’s like girl it’s
cling wrap and i’m like where has this
been
my whole life not cling wrap is it cling
wrap because there’s like the cling wrap
that’s like the plasticky stuff that’s a
pain in the butt like saran wrap i hate
that stuff
this stuff cling wrap i showed you the
packaging
it’s life you guys need it try it thank
me later it’s awesome that’s all i use
so i’m using in dust on my appliances
this is just the regular
dusting one and it’s amazing i’m showing
you
up close so you can see for yourself it
cleans off the food particles the
fingerprints
but it also shines my appliances
and they look beautiful and brand new i
love using it on my stainless steel

so it doesn’t do good on glass so for
the glass pieces on my oven i just
used a spray bottle that i have with
dawn dish soap and some water in it
and i just used a different part of the
rag to wipe those down really quick i
didn’t really show that but i wanted to
explain it does not work good on glass
it will leave streaks
so i just use a different product really
quickly on the glass parts of my oven
and then i’m wiping down my cabinets
just on the lower part mainly and around
like where the handles are because they
are white
and they show everything
so they’re beautiful but they are pain
in the butt so i’m just wiping those
down really quickly

so now i’m getting my bissell crosswave
cordless max ready to do the floor
so this is a vacuum and a mop all-in-one
if you don’t know about it i do have a
video
completely dedicated to this if you want
to know more about it it is on my
channel
but it does vacuum and it mops at the
same time so i can dispense
water with a cleaning solution in it i’m
using pine sol
and then it sucks that dirty water up
and it puts it into a dirty water tank
that you can dump out afterwards it’s
always so gross it always looks like
chocolate milk
when i’m done but i love this it saves
me a lot of time because i don’t have to
vacuum and then
mop a lot of people are worried about
the water that it leaves on the floor
but
it might seem like a lot or look like a
lot but it evaporates within 30 seconds
to a minute it really
it doesn’t leave the water on your
floors for long at all as you could see
in that clip it was almost
evaporated before i was even done in
that little section
plant your seeds and watch them grow the
light will

and wipe down just the tops of my
cabinets
and pick up all the stuff off the floor
and then i did do
the bissell crosswave in here as well
i’m sure
